Cake Portion Guide

When I ask customers what size cake they require, the majority of people reply, "I don't know!"

The actual size of cake that is required depends on several factors:

  • how many people is it to serve?
  • what type of cake is it? - you get less slices per cake with sponge cakes.
  • are you serving it as a dessert?
  • do you want standard slice sizes or something more generous?

Below is a rough guide to helping you decide on the size of cake you require.
